Description of Services: Adult day program provides a variety of mentally and physically stimulating activities in a secure environment * gives people an opportunity to socialize and offer caregivers support and respite * staff work closely with the clients and their families to ensure the goals are met * program includes:
  • light breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack
  • medication reminders
  • entertainment
  • arts and crafts
  • daily exercise program
  • baking
  • physical games such as bowling and bocce
  • programming to meet needs: Trivia, Scopa, and Rosary
Requirements
Fees: $26.49 per day * subsidy available for eligible participants
Eligibility - Population(s) Served: Adults with enhanced cognitive impairments and physical disabilities, who need physical, social, and emotional supports * Ontario Health atHome care coordinators assess the needs of applicants
